The J.D. Power Initial Quality Study (IQS) cuts through thousands of surveys. These results come from verified new-vehicle owners every year. Consumers talk about what they love and hate about their new cars, trucks, and SUVs. These survey respondents can also report if something went wrong or right within the first 90 days of ownership. Based on the feedback given, J.D. Power analyzes and publishes its findings. These 2021 best SUVs double as work vehicles and family rides.

According to J.D. Power‘s 2021 IQS and APPEAL studies report, these are the best SUVs for 2021. They all rank in their specific divisions for both quality and overall appeal.

  • BMW X4
  • BMW X6
