Additionally, these models come with special M light-alloy, star-spoke-designed, jet-black wheels that are 21 inches in the front and 22 inches in the back. Meanwhile, carbon fiber elements are used on the mirror caps, engine cover, and more.

Inside, you’ll find an exclusive Merino leather trim with two-tone color, which adds to the rich atmosphere already present inside these vehicles.

The final highlight of the First Edition variant may not do much for the vehicles’ overall styling. However, it’s a crucial distinction that sets it apart from the other X5 M Competition and X6 M Competition models. That is the “First Edition 1/250” silver-colored lettering found on the center console.

BMW hasn’t announced specific pricing for these limited-edition M Competition First Edition variants. However, these models aren’t the cheapest, to begin with. The 2020 BMW X5 M Competition starts at an MSRP of $114,100, and the 2020 BMW X6 M Competition goes for $117,600. The extreme exclusivity of these First Edition variants will likely drive the price significantly higher up.

Regardless, demand for these special editions will be high, despite the exorbitant cost. The M Competition models have garnered respect in the industry by utilizing one of the most powerful engines on the market.

The 2020 BMW X5 M Competition and 2020 BMW X6 M Competition are even more impressive than much of the rest of BMW’s M family. These models are powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and ride upon an M-tuned suspension and M all-wheel-drive system.

Glitz and glamour come with a price
