The new Ford Bronco Raptor keeps getting better. Ford has announced that the new Bronco Raptor will get its own version of the company’s Productivity Screen – except this screen is for producing large rooster tails of mud or for setting the SUV to get its quickest 0-60 times. Off-road, of course.  The Bronco Raptor is the expensive top-dog of the Bronco SUV range. Not many of us have had the chance to drive a Bronco and explore the screen. Yet.

The 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor's screen was designed to show you everything the SUV is doing.

Crucially for hard-core desert running, the performance view changes where the redline is indicated in the console. When selected, the redline is at 12 o’clock, so when the needle is vertically pegged you know there’s no more.

The screen also adds functions to the Goes Over Any Type of Terrain mode, which Ford calls G.O.A.T. mode. G.O.A.T. mode will pair with future Ford Power-Ups, or apps, that will update the SUVs performance. Today, it has seven modes. Since the Bronco Raptor has adjustable shocks and a complicated four-wheel-drive system, we’d expect it to add something like Toyota’s incredible Crawl Control in the future.

Other Ford screens show a lot, too

In Ford’s other F-150 trucks you get the Productivity Screen. It’s a an eight-inch screen or 12-inch screen in the dash that shows a little bit of everything that the truck is doing. You can control everything from lane keep assist to the power distribution from the engine, tire pressures, and much, much more.

Anyone who’s driven a 2022 Raptor has seen that truck’s screen that shows similar information. The F-150 Raptor, and some other trucks, have options that show your lean angles, what your payload is doing to the tires, and of course your drive modes.

The Bronco Raptor is the Raptor of SUVs

For those that missed all the hype, the Bronco Raptor is the highest-performance version of the Bronco. It’s designed, like its F-150 namesake, to be able to bomb desert roads quickly and with ease.

The Bronco Raptor is 9.8 inches wider than a base Bronco and features the 400-hp 3.0 liter EcoBoost engine. It’s suspension is race ready, and its transfer case was designed with an ultra-low crawl ratio to get you over the really hairy stuff. Overall, the Bronco Raptor has all of the upgrades you’d need for a some of the toughest off-roading you can imagine.
