Some of y’all might celebrate the fact that the Ford F-150 is getting slightly cheaper. However, with lower 2025 Ford F-150 prices come sacrifices. See which desirable features are getting the ax so you can save a little cheddar.

Reduced 2025 Ford F-150 prices come with fewer features

Just a fair warning, math isn’t my strong suit, but I’m trying my best. While some 2025 Ford F-150 prices have been reduced, some models also got more expensive.

The 2024 F-150 has an MSRP of $36,965 while the 2025 Ford F-150 has an MSRP of $37,250. That’s a $285 increase, but some trim levels have been reduced by $1,200 to $2,300.

On a positive note, the destination fee is still ‘only’ $1,995, increasing the starting price to $40,605. That feels like a lot for the entry-level XL model.

Last year, the F-150 STX trim started at $45,995, but now it begins at $45,995. It’s $1,185 cheaper. To achieve the decrease, it dropped the 20-inch wheels for 18-inch wheels.

Plus, the STX trim no longer includes LED fog lights and zone lightning. But these items can be added with the 200A package for $1,535.

The F-150 XLT trim starts at $50,180, which is $2,235 cheaper than it was in 2024. It lost chrome accents on the grille and door handles. It also lost six-inch running boards, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Unfortunately, the 360-degree camera, Pro Trailer Backup Assist, and Pro Trailer Hitch Assist are no longer standard. Plus, the keypad costs $125 to add and the price doesn’t include the cost of labor.

The Lariat trim now starts at $65,155, including the $1,995 destination fee. It’s $2,235 cheaper than before. It lost the standard 20-inch wheels, power sliding rear window, universal garage door opener, keypad, leather seats, and signature lighting.

To space some of the tech, you can add the 501A package for $2,670. But the leather seats were replaced by the ActivX seat trim and the Signature Lightning system is only available with the King Ranch and Platinum trim levels.
