The Dodge Challenger Hellcat is a fairly universally loved car. Its remarkable power output can get brand-loyal fanatics of other muscle cars to fess up and say, “OK, that’s pretty cool.” However, being so universally loved has kept early Hellcat resale values pretty high. They are, however, getting more affordable with time. After all, the original Hellcat models are now seven years old. Dodge debuted them in 2015, so the more mileage they keep racking up, the more affordable they’ll be for the general public!

Here’s the cheapest Hellcat Challenger currently for sale online

This is a bold claim to make. However, after some digging, it appears that the cheapest Dodge Challenger Hellcat currently for sale in the U.S. is this 2016 example that’s for sale on Truecar. Fortunately, despite its stellar price, it’s not shy on equipment!

This 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is finished in Redline Red Tricoat Pearl. Unfortunately, enthusiasts will be a bit upset to find that it does not have the six-speed manual transmission. However, some sacrifices have to be made when shopping for the cheapest Hellcat you can find!

Fortunately, it’s got all the bells and whistles otherwise. Navigation, blind-spot monitoring, backup camera, parking sensors, etc. It also has both heated and cooled front seats. All things considered, there are some pretty awesome options in there for a 2016 model.

Best of all, though, is the dealership that has it listed for sale states that 90 percent of their used vehicle stock gets brand new tires and brakes before they’re sold. That’s not something you’ll run into at a lot of dealerships!

This Hellcat is located in Bay Shore, New York, and it has an asking price of $43,950. According to Truecar, that’s $6 below the average selling price of one of these cars. Finding a car under book value is an absolute treasure with the ever-increasing cost of used cars due to supply-chain shortages.

Of course, with the prices of gas right now, the Hellcat isn’t the most economical choice. The 2016 models have EPA fuel economy ratings of 13 mpg city and 21 mpg highway. Still, it could be worse!

The only other slight concern is the relatively high mileage. Currently, this Hellcat has 86,490 miles on it.

That’s a lot of car for $44,000!

Sure, it’s a bit older, and the newer Hellcats are a bit spicier with the power output. However, let’s not forget that this is still a car that makes 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.

You could go buy this car for about the same price as a 2022 Toyota Supra with the base 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. However, the Hellcat, despite its size and weight, still sprints from zero to 60 miles per hour in 3.6-second and will run 11-second quarter miles as it sits. Not only that, you get 450 more horsepower than the Supra!

Overall, this is an outstanding deal. If you aren’t afraid of the mileage or maintenance, this is an excellent opportunity to get an earful of that signature Hellcat supercharger whine on the cheap!
