The truck’s last generation debuted in America for the 2015 model year, but it’s actually older than that. The Detroit-based automaker started producing the last generation of the truck in 2011 for foreign markets. As a result, the last generation was very outdated compared to its rivals.
This was especially true in terms of its visual design, as well as its features. For example, the 2022 version came standard with a 7-inch touchscreen display. It also had a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produced 200 hp and 191 lb-ft of torque. Like many other trucks, Chevrolet offered cab and bed options.
