On September 6, a man in Brooklyn discovered his Chevy pickup half-loaded on a tow truck. Footage from several angles on 53rd Avenue shows the man becoming irate and threatening the tow truck driver. Unfortunately, it didn’t stop there.

“Nobody’s taking this truck but me.”

As horrified pedestrians watch, the man gets into the tow truck. It seems he hits the vehicle parked in front of the rig. He backs up and then turns into the street, dragging his pickup on a destructive rampage.

Since the recovery truck operator hadn’t finished loading, the Chevy pickup wasn’t completely secured. What’s more, its left front door was wide open from the driver attempting to remove personal items.

As such, footage shows the enraged driver dragging the pickup against several parallel-parked vehicles.

Next, the enraged driver’s sweeping right turn causes the Chevy to lift off the rig and fall dangerously off the tow truck – right in front of a moving city bus.

The recovery vehicle operator shared the full footage from his rig’s rear-facing camera on TikTok.

The driver carries on without his pickup, making additional turns. After his two-minute destructive spree, the driver parks the tow truck and leaves the scene on foot.

Local authorities said that the man parked his Chevrolet pickup in front of a service entrance. The initial police report did not disclose the man’s identity, and as of Friday afternoon, authorities had yet to locate him.
