What’s the Difference Between the Ram 1500 Rebel and Rebel X?
Sometimes trucks have so many different trim levels that things get confusing. The 2025 Ram 1500 just dropped four different off-roading models including the Rebel, Rebel X, Warlock, and RHO. I’ve covered the Warlock and RHO, but how are the Ram 1500 Rebel and Rebel X different?
How are the Ram 1500 Rebel and Rebel X different?
The 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel and Rebel X are different because each model provides different levels of luxury and convenience.
Both models have the standard Hurricane engine. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six standard output engine provides 420 hp and 469 lb-ft of torque. Upgrade to the high output variant for 510 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque.
The 2025 Rebel starts with 33-inch all-terrain tires and a 1.0-inch suspension lift. It has Bilstein shocks and a new rear sway bar. It also has a protective skidplate in the front and functional tow hooks.
A black-out grille, black-powered coated front bumper, black rims, black door handles, a sport hood, and unique badging complete its look.
The interior features black leather upholstery, an 8.4-inch infotainment system, a 7.0-inch cluster display, heated seats, keyless entry, and remote start with a subscription.
With the Rebel X, you get unique badging, black leather upholstery with red backing and red accent stitching, a panoramic sunroof, heated seats in the rear, and a heated steering wheel. You also get a power tailgate and power-folding mirrors.
Tech upgrades include a 14.5-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch passenger display a dual wireless phone charger, a 19-speaker premium Hardon Kardon audio system, and Rough Road Cruise Control, which scans the road in front of the truck to provide a smoother ride.
Off-roading upgrades include extra skid plates, an electronic locking differential, and 18-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires.
The Ram 1500 Rebel starts at $66,190 with the $1,995 destination fee included. The pricing for the X is expected to start at an extra $3,500 or more.
The differences between the Rebel and X include plenty of comfort and convenience upgrades with slight off-roading upgrades.
