Ditch the Tent, You Need the Airstream Bambi in Your Life
Want to go camping but not quite ready to sleep on the cold, dirt-covered ground? Then you should probably check out the Airstream Bambi. It’s spacious, offers sleeping accommodations for four, and, well, it’s an Airstream. And what’s not to like about that?
What is the Airstream Bambi?
The Airstream Bambi isn’t new. In fact, it’s been around for kind of a while. It was first introduced in 1961 and was the first single-axle Airstream travel trailer the company ever launched. Nowadays, these travel trailers range in size from 16 to 22 feet in length. Airstream explains that the Bambi’s compact size means that it’s not much longer than some vehicles that you see out on the road today.
The Bambi’s compact size isn’t the only thing it has going for it. This Airstream trailer offers a dedicated bed that’s cozy enough for two. If you need additional sleeping accommodations, you can easily convert the Bambi’s dinette into a bed for two. All Bambi models come outfitted with a built-in refrigerator, stove, and microwave too. Add in features like strategically placed USB ports, air conditioning and heating, and an LED HDTV with a built-in DVD player, and the Airstream Bambi is the perfect companion for a weekend getaway.
Does the Airstream Bambi have a bathroom?
Now, this all depends on which floor plan you go with. The Airstream Bambi is available in four floor plans, three of which include a bathroom with a sink, toilet, and a shower. For the most spacious bathroom accommodations, choose the 22FB floor plan, which features a bathroom spanning the back of the Bambi. With a standalone shower that includes a built-in seat, along with a bathroom vanity with plenty of storage space, the 22FB floor plan offers up more than enough space to get ready.
The Airstream Bambi also features a convenient exterior shower with both hot and cold water. Located inside of a lockable compartment on the outside of the Bambi, this exterior shower is perfect for rinsing off before stepping inside of the trailer.
How much is the Airstream Bambi?
The Airstream Bambi will cost you. The Bambi 16RB, which measures at 16-feet, will have you spending at least $51,400. Upgrade to the Bambi 19CB, which measures in at 19-feet, and you’ll be spending $54,500. Choose the 20-foot long Bambi, the Bambi 20FB, and you can anticipate spending $57,600. As for the most expensive Bambi? That honor goes to the Bambi 22FB, which measures in at 22-feet and costs $60,700.
You’re going to want to check out this Airstream for yourself
The Bambi is reasonably sized, boasts plenty of on-board amenities, and while it is somewhat expensive, there are several more expensive options available. So if you’re considering picking up a travel trailer before your next camping trip? Then you’re going to want to check out the Airstream Bambi.
