Dodge Last Call Models in Order: The Last Challengers and Chargers

The Mopar muscle cars are dead, long live the Mopar muscle cars! Dodge and its parent company, Stellantis, doomed the Challenger and Charger models, but not before making an announcement. Dodge will sell seven special editions known as the “Last Call” models, based on platforms like the R/T Scat Pack. Here are the Dodge Challenger and Charger Last Call models in order.

What is the first Dodge Last Call model?
The first Dodge Last Call model is the Challenger R/T Scat Pack Shakedown. No surprise from the moniker; it’s a unique and nostalgic nod based on the Scat Pack Shaker. In addition to the iconic shaker hood, it features red and black stripes, matching upholstery, carbon fiber trim, and “Shakedown” badges. Of course, they’ll be challenging to come by; Dodge will only produce 1,000 between the standard and Widebody.
What is a Charger Super Bee?
The Charger Super Bee is a Last Call model for fans of the iconic Bee and four-door Mopar muscle fans alike. Tim Kuniskis, Dodge’s CEO and one of the maniacs behind the original Hellcat, says the Super Bee is a “Charger variant of the Challenger 1320 grassroots race package.” Of course, that means the Super Bee packs drag-strip-focused equipment like drag radial tires and a Drag Mode for its adaptive suspension. It’s not just performance, though; the 1,000 standard and Widebody Chargers will sport a B5 Blue or Plum Crazy paint scheme with busy Super Bee graphics to match.
Is the Challenger Scat Pack Swinger a Dodge Last Call model?
You might stifle a laugh when you hear about a car named “Swinger,” but it means serious business. Car and Driver says that Dodge revived the Swinger name all the way back from the days of the original 1969 Dart. Furthermore, Dodge is clearly leaning on the nostalgia factor, given the classic script adorning the tail sections of the 1,000 Swinger Scat Pack Shakers. Finally, for those who don’t like the F8 Green, the Swinger will be available in Sublime Green and White Knuckle.
Is the Charger Swinger the same as the Challenger Swinger?
Unlike the Super Bee and Shakedown, Dodge offers the Swinger in both the Challenger and Charger models. The Charger will pack the same 485-horsepower 6.4L V8 engine, three color options, and a classic Swinger script. Also, both the Challenger and Charger Swingers will only be available as Widebody models, unlike the Shakedown and Super Bee.
How many Charger King Daytonas Last Call Models will Dodge make?
Just when you thought Dodge was on a 1,000-unit special edition script, the Mopar marque announced the Charger King Daytona. The King Daytona is a Dodge Last Call model with an 807-horsepower supercharged 6.2L Hellcat engine, an eye-popping Go Mango livery with black graphics, and the Redeye’s aggressive Widebody. However, unlike the preceding Last Call models, the King Daytona is limited to just 300, with orders going out in Fall 2022.
What is the Dodge Challenger Black Ghost?
How can you top names like “Hellcat” or “Demon?” Well, here’s the Black Ghost, Dodge’s last Challenger before the out-of-control final Challenger makes its debut. It derives its name and looks from Detroit police officer Godfrey Qualls’ modified 1970 Challenger R/T. Qualls drag raced on Detroit’s famed Woodward Avenue in the Black Ghost, which would disappear as quickly as it dominated.
Of course, the new car packs a supercharged 807-horsepower V8, Pitch Black paint, and a gator-skin roof scheme. Also, it’ll be limited to just 300 copies, just like the Charger King Daytona.
When will Dodge unveil the last Dodge Challenger?
Dodge recently unveiled its final halo car and muscle car last word, the Challenger SRT Demon 170. The final Challenger produces 1,025 horsepower on a 170-proof E85 ethanol mixture, hence the name. Like the 2018 variation, the Demon 170 will pop a wheelie under hard launch. However, Dodge’s swan song super-Challenger will hit 60 mph in just 1.66 on its way to an 8.91-second quarter mile.
