Chevy has recently unveiled its newest Suburban and it looks great. Chevy’s newest model year of the Suburban will come with a lot of interior features and high-tech creature comforts. Here’s a look inside the Suburban’s interior and all the features and options that Chevy’s offering customers. 

The Chevy Suburban’s standard features

According to U.S. News, the Suburban has a lot of standard features, as it is a large and premium SUV. Chevy says that the newest Suburban will have a 10-inch touchscreen display that works with Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto. The Suburban also has a six-speaker stereo system that can play songs from a standard satellite radio, a standard HD radio, or just from your phone. 

Furthermore, the Suburban has several USB ports, Bluetooth compatibility, as well as a 4G WiFi hotspot as standard features. Chevy also claims that the newest Suburban will have improved computers as well as cybersecurity features. U.S. News does mention that the older Suburbans had some issues with apps and programs being slow, so the newest Suburban might’ve fixed those problems.

Additionally, some of the other standard features that the Suburban has, according to U.S. News, includes a tri-zone automatic climate control system, a power outlet that’s styled after the ones found in homes, rain-sensing windshield wipers, as well as remote start and rear parking sensors.  

The Chevy Suburban’s optional features 

While the newest Suburban will have a lot of standard features, Chevy is still offering multiple trims of the Suburban, with each one having a lot fancy features. Adding some of those options can give the Suburban up to five screens, according to Chevy. These options include an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15-inch head-up display, and two 12.6 inch rear-seat displays that are a part of the Suburban’s entertainment suite.

Chevy also claims that the 15-inch head-up display is bigger than anything that its competitors offer. Furthermore, Chevy also offers two different premium audio system packages, including a nine-speaker stereo system as well as a 10-speaker Bose stereo system. On top of that, wireless device charging is an option on multiple trims of the Suburban.

Chevy also says that each screen that’s purchased in the Suburban will be independent of one another, but they can also interact with one another. Chevy claims that, for instance, passengers in the rear seats can share content with each other’s screens if they choose to. 

The Chevy Suburban’s smart safety features

Chevy is going all-in on smart safety features. In the past model years of the Suburban, many smart safety technologies were only options for the SUV. In the newest Suburban, many of those smart safety features are now standard. Some of those include: automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, and forward pedestrian braking, according to Chevy. 

Other standard safety features that the Suburban will have include an automatic headlight control system, a passenger sensing system, and a rear parking assist system. The Suburban will also have Chevy’s teen driver system, which is a system designed to make the Suburban very safe for teen drivers.

Furthermore, Chevy will be offering a lot of other smart safety features on the Suburban. Some of these include adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and lane departure warning. A blind spot detection system is also offered on several trims of the Suburban, and that system also works with the Suburban’s trailering system.

Chevy’s also offering a lot of security features as well. One of the major optional security features includes a surround camera system that also makes the Suburban a great SUV to tow stuff with. Other optional security features include keyless entry and a universal garage door opener.
