If that’s the case, then look no further than the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport, which comes standard with all-wheel drive. Now, that’s not the say the 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport doesn’t offer all-wheel drive. In fact, this year’s model is available with it. However, all-wheel drive is considered an upgrade, so it will cost you.

Don’t count on the 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport to be an off-roader, either. According to Consumer Reports, it has “no off-road pretense whatsoever.” The Ford Bronco Sport, on the other hand, comes standard with trail-ready features like a class-exclusive Trail Control system that makes taking on anything from sandy beaches to rock-covered trails an easy feat.

Choose the Ford Bronco Sport for more power under the hood

Perhaps you care more about what’s under the hood than whether or not a vehicle comes standard with all-wheel drive. Fortunately, this year’s new Bronco Sport comes driven by a 181-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine. It’s also available with a 245-hp turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. 

As for the 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport? Standard is a 141-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, and, unfortunately, that’s the only option available. And, according to Consumer Reports, it “isn’t powerful enough to get the Sport to launch with any real verve.” In fact, when trying to merge onto the highway, Consumer Reports says that the Nissan Rogue Sport’s base engine might even be too slow.

Unlike the Nissan Rogue Sport, the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport puts versatility first

There’s no beating around the bush here. The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is an extremely versatile SUV. It offers seating for up to five passengers and boasts best-in-class first and second-row headroom. Its interior offers plenty of storage space too, more so than the 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport does. But that’s not all the Ford Bronco Sport’s interior has to offer.

Consider a Bronco Sport equipped with its available cargo management system, camp table, bottle opener, and class-exclusive zipper pockets with the MOLLE strap system, and this year’s model is about as versatile as it gets. Unfortunately for the Nissan Rogue Sport, most of these features aren’t an option.
