After Jaguar, Dua Lipa Gets Cozy with Porsche
Porsche recently announced its budding partnership with Dua Lipa, followed by a flurry of TikTok influencers replaying the highlight reel of the performer’s visit to the Porsche Experience Center in LA. The automaker better send it, though, since Jaguar’s high-tech, cosmic collab with the pop star in 2018 will be hard to beat.
Dua Lipa x Porsche collab in the works for 2024
Porsche shared that after attending 24 Hours of Le Mans in June, Dua Lipa drove the all-electric Taycan plus new and classic 911s to kickstart their growing bond.
With hardly any actual collab details given, the emphasis on her Le Mans event appearance and Dua’s newfound passion for racing might be a clue. This angle would definitely create space between the groovy, futuristic campaign she mused with Jaguar a few years back. What creative PR will come from this tie-up? We contacted Porche for any hints, and they responded with the whole “more to come” thing. Bummer; we’ll have to wait and see.
The 2018 I-PACE campaign is going to be tough to transcend
Jaguar met Dua Lipa in her favorite space – the Pop Cosmos – while launching its first all-electric SUV. The I-PACE has built-in remix software, which Dua Lipa harnessed to help create the single “Want To.” The campaign included a hit music video featuring several I-PACE appearances and other visual social releases. The music video has a combined YouTube viewership of over 60 million.
