Exciting Expectations Coming With The New 2021 Fiat 500

The Fiat 500 is a popular egg-shaped vehicle that has been around since 2007. While it hasn’t changed much since then, it did lead to the Jeep Renegade, which is still very exciting. The Fiat 500 is a popular egg-shaped vehicle that has been around since 2007. While it hasn’t changed much since then, it did lead to the Jeep Renegade, which is still very exciting. However, now we can look forward to the new 2021 Fiat 500 and speculate its power and features.

What To Expect With The 2021 Fiat 500

The Fiat 500 was discontinued in the US and has slowly been making its way out of European countries. However, it’s about to come back with an electric bang, but all we can go off of right now is speculation and rumors.

The New Fiat Exterior

First of all, we have gathered that the Fiat has received a slight facelift. The most notable changes will most likely be to the headlights and grille for a boxier design. The EV 500 will also have a place to hide its plug.

The Fiat may also be a bit roomier for passengers by being a little taller while still maintaining it’s spunky compact size. The five-door hatchback should also have a convertible option.

This new Fiat 500 may also gain fog lamps, a tail light redesign, and new wheels that bring a modern flair to it’s retro 1950’s design.

We also expect a new four-door designed to increase functionality and convenience as a family car, unlike its two-door predecessors.

The New Fiat Interior

The Fiat will need to incorporate more space to be a little more practical. That means we may be able to expect a larger trunk and more legroom. Perhaps the back seats will be able to fold down to provide more space.

Like other more modern dashboards and center consoles, the Fiat interior will most likely sport a two-tone design with pops of bright colors to maintain it’s spunky attitude. We also expect a larger display and the materials to be crafter from items of higher quality.

The 2021 Fiat will has have a digital display behind the steering console to project your speed and other information. Perhaps it will display navigation instructions like modern Jeep models.

Also, to further improve functionality, the Fiat interior should have more cup holders and storage cubbies to match the needs of passengers better.

Gas Or Electric?

While the Fiat 500 electric model has been confirmed, we speculate that there will still be a gas-powered or at least a hybrid option available to compete against the Mini Cooper.

The EV has a top speed of 93 mph and the 42kWh lithium-ion battery that provides enough power to accelerate to 62 mph in 10 seconds. This is a bit slow compared to the Nissan Leaf that can hit 60 mph in only 6.5 seconds. However, the Electric Fiat can go from o to 32 mph in only three seconds.

The fast charger for the Fiat 500 EV will provide enough charge to drive about 30 miles in as little as five minutes. The optional at-home charger will fully charge this vehicle in six hours.

Drivers can also connect to their Fiat with the Uconnect 5 system on their smartphones to monitor the charge levels along with other information. The app will allow them to start the Fiat, lock its doors, and more.

In the UK, the Fiat 500 EV already has started it’s presales around $33k. However, we will have to wait for more information about when and if this new Fiat will be brought to the United States.
