We haven’t officially gotten a glimpse of the Ford Bronco Raptor just yet, and we still don’t in this video. One of the most highly anticipated vehicles coming soon, the Bronco Raptor combines the sold-out off-road SUV with the ever-popular Raptor lineup. The Ford F-150 Raptor is an American favorite and an expensive one to boot. You have to watch this Raptor-fied Bronco crush the off-road course.

Watch the Ford Bronco Raptor drive off-road

Who doesn’t love seeing a big off-road vehicle slinging mud around a course? In this video, a camouflaged Ford Bronco Raptor easily navigates through mud and hills. The course features tight-winding turns, small hills, bumpy runs, and, most importantly, dirt. The Bronco Raptor flies through all of it smoothly and looks great doing it despite being partially hidden.

The close-up shots of the front grille, headlights and even the underpinnings of the Bronco show off the premium parts being used. We expect the model will be pretty expensive, but it looks worth the price. Any potential buyer of a Bronco for off-roading or even a previous premium Jeep Wrangler customer should be excited for this one.

How much will the Ford Bronco Warthog cost?

It’s easy to see the label on the Ford Bronco Raptor in the video that’s labeled “Warthog.” Although the name has stuck, we’ll leave the Warthogs in Halo Infinite (for now). The Bronco Raptor will share its name with the F-150 of the same prehistoric title, but that’s not all. According to RoadAndTrack, the name isn’t the only thing the Bronco Raptor will share with its pickup truck relative.

Although we don’t have an official announcement yet, it is estimated the Ford Bronco Raptor (Warthog) will start in the mid-$60,000 range, RoadAndTrack says. That makes it highly affordable, especially if it’s as well-equipped as the F-150 Raptor. Comparatively, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 costs a minimum of $73,500, which would make the Raptor off-road SUV a bargain.

What is the Ford Bronco Raptor?

The Ford Bronco Raptor is set to become the top trim level for the coveted off-road SUV. It’ll also be the most wildly capable and probably be very expensive. The good news is, just like its F-150 counterpart, it’ll be well worth the premium price. There isn’t a lot of publicly available information, but we do know a bit so far.

The Bronco Raptor has a much higher ride height than standard models. Much larger fenders also hide Fox Racing dampers which are visible due to their orange casing. Like the F-150 Raptor, the Bronco variant will have a wider track, raised suspension, upgraded chassis, and skid plates. Additionally, 37-inch tires will be available, a presumed optional upgrade from the standard 35-inch rubber.

Although most of the information is only rumors, the good news is the Bronco Raptor might have an upgraded engine. A brand new 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 may be coming to the Raptor variant. The new engine would be a big step up from the standard engine options of a 2.3-liter four-cylinder or 2.7-liter V6. The 2.7-liter V6 may be the standard Raptor engine, and the new option is an available upgrade.

The Bronco Raptor will not have a two-door option but will have two different trim levels. Allegedly, the top Raptor trim will add lots of technology like adaptive cruise control, a heated steering wheel, and more. Leaks from the Bronco6G forums previously mentioned that the Raptor would be available in three exclusive colors. The colors are Eruption Green, Hot Pepper Red, and Code Orange, which will each ensure your Bronco SUV stands out in any crowd.

As we look forward to a new version of the Ford Bronco selling out fast, we can at least enjoy this fantastic video footage. Seeing the Raptor SUV come to life as it spins through the muddy hills is a treat. We can only hope that the 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor is as affordable as the estimated prices.
