Ford wanted a way to show off some of the accessories available for the upcoming 2021 Bronco. To that end, it has debuted the ultimate in adventure, the Bronco Overland Concept. Looking like the proverbial 10 pounds of stuff in a five-pound bag, the Overland looks to have everything one would need. 

This week marks the Bronco Super Celebration East in Townsend, Tennessee. Ford chose to unveil the Overland at this event. It is the biggest classic Bronco event in the world. While preaching to the choir, it might entice some classic Bronco owners to spring for a new daily Bronco.

The concept starts with a 2021 four-door Bronco Badlands model. The Area 51-painted Bronco features the High-performance Off-road Stability Suspension called the HOSS system. This includes Bilstein position-sensitive dampers and the disconnecting front sway bar. This also comes with the vinyl seats and rubberized flooring. 

Power comes from Ford’s 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder hooked up to a seven-speed manual transmission with the crawling gear. Black 17-inch Fifteen52 Turbomatic wheels are shod with 35-inch BFGoodrich KM3 mud-terrain tires. You can opt for the Sasquatch package and get the 35-inch tires and 17-inch wheels though they’ll be factory wheels and not the Fifteen52 wheels. The Sasquatch package also gets you the locking axles, big fenders, and added ground clearance.

The Bronco Overland accessories are featured everywhere

In front, there is a Ford Performance by Warn winch on the modular front bumper and a front-facing light bar. Six Rigid pod lights are scattered around the Overland and a tall CB antenna is attached to the rear bumper. Also in the back are MOLLE strap panels inside of the rear windows for some extra storage. 

Now for the camping features. A heavy-duty Yakima rooftop tent built for two is attached to the factory roof rack. In the back is an ARB refrigerator with a slide-out tray, a cooking kit, a stove, and a tailgate table and chairs. Basically, everything you need for your camping pleasure. 

The Overland has tough looks and plug and play camping accessories galore

With its tough looks and plug and play camping accessories it is hard not to want to buy one and start trekking. While Ford calls it a concept it should be plenty easy to match what they have conjured up for your own Bronco Overland. Everything that is featured on the concept is available through Ford Performance. Ford says there are hundreds of accessory and aftermarket items available for the new Bronco. That’s part of the Bronco lure-accessorizing should be one of the fun parts of ownership.

Ford is already building pilot models at the Wayne plant in Michigan. Deliveries are planned for mid-2021 and all of those model year Broncos are already sold out. The two-door Bronco starts at $29,995 while the four-door kicks in at $34,695. We expect to see more teasers like the Bronco Overland concept to keep the energy high between now and mid-2021.
