What’s In the Frunk is a YouTube miniseries that showcases the many uses of Ford’s Mega Power Frunk. The first episode features Ghetto Gastro, a culinary collective from the Bronx, New York. The collective used the F-150 Lightning’s Mega Power Frunk to power appliances and prepare a meal.

The team used the F-150 Lightning’s many powerpoints to power a blender, electric stove, and other necessities for their meal. After they were finished cooking, they enjoyed the meal right in the truck bed of the F-150 Lightning by laying their food out on a small table in the middle of the bed. This episode is entitled A Frunkin Cookout.

Ford has produced three What’s In the Frunk episodes thus far, and more could be on the way. It’ll be interesting to see how consumers use the Mega Power Frunk when F-150 Lightning orders are fulfilled.

How big is the F-150 Lightning frunk?

The Mega Power Frunk has about 14 cubic feet of space. It can carry about 400 pounds. The frunk can fit two full-size golf bags. It can hold luggage, sports equipment, groceries, and more. If you can’t fit something in the frunk by some chance, you have the entire truck bed to rely on.
