The first generation was the 2010-2014 Ford F-150 Raptor SVT

The first generation of Ford Raptor was a pretty solid truck for 2010. Ford Authority says the 2010-2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor SuperCab came equipped with a 5.4L Triton V8 engine. The V8 offered 310 hp and 365 lb-ft of torque, plus a six-speed automatic transmission. The Ford truck had room for five people, as do all of the future generations.

The 2010-2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor had a towing capacity of 6,000 pounds and a max payload of 1,020 pounds. The 2010-2014 model had a wheelbase length of 133.3 inches and an overall length of 220.9 inches.

The second generation of Ford F-150 Raptor SVT was from 2011 to 2014

The next generation is the 2011-2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor SuperCab and SuperCrew. Both options were equipped with the 6.2L Boss V8, getting 411 hp and 434 lb-ft of torque. That’s a big jump from the first generation Ford Raptor already. The 2011-2014 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCab had a towing capacity of 6,000 pounds and a maximum payload of 930 pounds.

The 2011-2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor SuperCrew had a max towing capacity of 8,000 pounds. The payload maximum is 1,030 pounds. The wheelbase length for the 2011-2014 Raptor increased to 145.2 inches. The overall length increased to 232.1 inches.

Ford produced the third-generation truck from 2017 to 2020

The next generation featured the 2017-2020 Ford Raptor SuperCab and SuperCrew trucks. The 2017 to 2020 Ford F-150 Raptor got a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine. Both the SuperCab and SuperCrew trucks had 450 hp with 510 lb-ft of torque.

2017 and on saw an upgraded transfer case that offered two-speed electronic shifting. The transmission also got upgraded to a 10-speed automatic. The SuperCab stuck to the same 6,000-pound tow rating/1,000-payload max. The SuperCrew had the same 8,000-pound tow rating with a jump to a 1,200-pound payload max.

The SuperCab wheelbase clocked in at 134.2 inches and an overall length of 220 inches. The SuperCrew sat at 146 inches for the wheelbase and 231.9 inches for the overall length.

The newest version is the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor

The 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew got the same 3.5L Ford EcoBoost V6 engine from the newest generation. The 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque also remain unchanged. The 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor can tow more with an 8,200 towing maximum. The payload max also went up to 1,4000 pounds.

The 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor came with two tire choices for the SuperCrew, 25 or 27 inches. Both tire options came with a wheelbase length of 145.4 inches. The overall length measured 232.6 inches. The F-150 Raptor price depends on a few factors like trim level, wheel choice, and any additional packages buyers might add.
