Adaptive cruise is only available in the Raptor, but it is for an additional $8,000. Finally, towing. The Raptor can tow around 8,000 pounds, which is a little less than the Tundra.

Toyota Tundra TRD PRO

The Toyota Tundra TRD Pro has a design that is a bit smaller and capable of driving long distances. These characteristics account for both its ground clearance and slimness. Now, the Tundra still does pack a punch, with upgraded exhaust systems, with dual exhaust outlets. Adaptive cruise control comes at no cost to the driver when purchasing the vehicle, which means you can save a little more on upgrading your truck. The Tundra TRD Pro will give two years of complimentary maintenance following the purchase of the truck. The Tundra can tow more than the Raptor, with a towing capability of approximately 10,200 pounds.

The TRD Pro costs approximately the same as a fully loaded Tundra, starting at $48,655. Compared to most trucks these days, that’s a reasonable price point, but let’s compare it to the F-150. The F-150 Raptor goes for a starting price of approximately $54,800, which considering the features it makes sense. Both of these trucks are sturdy, and consumers shopping in this truck segment are willing to pay more for a sturdy machine.

Off-Road: Ford F-150 Raptor vs. Toyota Tundra TRD PRO

Both tires are approximately 17-18 inches, and both have all-terrain tires, as well as Fox shocks, which makes them perfect for any environment you choose. Both trucks perform very well in all types of terrain. The Raptor does perform somewhat better due to the wideness, as well as its height difference.
