Ford’s max recline seats fold flat, almost to 180 degrees, so you can actually lie down. However, the true innovation lies in the seat bottom. As the seat reclines, its bottom rises by 3.5 inches, filling in the gap between the cushion and the seatback. Additionally, you can manually adjust the top of the chair to offer better neck comfort.
The manufacturer states that there are no extra motors involved in the creation of this seat compared to the regular version. It is up to the user to properly use the power-recline button to adjust it to their liking.
