While other vehicles on this list start in the low $20,000s, the Ford Bronco starts at $32,395 MSRP, making it the most expensive vehicle on KBB’s list by a fair amount.

The Ford Bronco Sport

If you want the Ford Bronco aesthetic design in a much more manageable package, the Ford Bronco Sport has you covered. While the Bronco is designed to be more truck-like and offroad-oriented, the Bronco Sport takes the visual cues and cosmetic design of the Bronco and gears it for a more road-friendly experience. The Bronco Sport is only offered as a four-door and comes standard with all-wheel drive, which means this SUV can handle offroad conditions if needed.

The Broncos against the competition

While the Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport are a fair amount more expensive than the competition, they offer much more value. The top-ranked subcompact SUV, according to KBB, is the Kia Seltos, and at $22,840 MSRP, it is one of the cheapest new SUVs you can buy today. While the Kia Seltos is great on paper, it does have some unrefined edges, including a base model engine that is lackluster for some, as well as a CVT on the base model. This base model is only capable of around 146 horsepower, and for an SUV of any size, that is not much.

While the Kia Seltos is excellent on gas and has many features offered on the Ford Bronco lineup for less, the Bronco has an award-winning design, quality ride, and great build for the price.
