This study uses data from the Power Information Network to calculate if an owner purchased a vehicle from the same brand after trading in an existing vehicle.

Customer loyalty is based on the percentage of drivers who stick with the same automotive brand when upgrading. Only sales from new-vehicle franchised dealerships qualify.

In 2023, the Ford F-150 sold 750,789 trucks. But the 2023 Toyota Tundra only moved 125,185 models. The 2023 Chevrolet Silverado rings in with 555,148 units sold. Also, the Ram 1500 moved 539,477 models.

I guess the people who are loyal to Toyota are going for Tacoma trucks. The Toyota Tacoma sold 234,768 models in 2023.

People are drawn to the Ford F-150 because of its brand recognition. It has been popular for years. Also, it offers diverse models to meet various needs and different price ranges. Stay tuned to see how this full-size truck finishes the year.
