There’s no denying that the second coming of the Toyota Supra made waves in the past couple of years. The use of BMW DNA made enthusiasts cry about the fact that the Supra was no longer the Japanese hero car that it once was, but in reality, it’s not that bad. In fact, if you drive a Supra, you most likely won’t care that it has a BMW engine and interior. And if you plan on buying one, then you might want to first know how much a fully loaded one will cost you.

What is a fully loaded 2022 Supra priced at?

An entry-level 2022 GR Supra 2.0 carries an MSRP of $43,190, while the top-trim GR Supra 3.0 Premium is priced at $54,690 (before the destination charge). There’s also an A91-CF edition Supra that’s loaded with carbon fiber aero parts and priced at $63,280. However, it’s worth noting that Toyota is only building 600 of those units, so finding one could be tough.

That being said, if you want a fully optioned Supra, then it would be best to select the Premium model. This model comes with everything that the Supra 3.0 does including the turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine, but adds a few comfort and convenience features. Those features include 14-way power-adjustable leather seats, a 12-speaker JBL sound system, and Brembo four-piston calipers.

According to Toyota’s configurator, building a Supra 3.0 Premium is easy as there are only seven different exterior and two different interior colors to choose from. After that, you can select whether or not you want the Driver Assist package for an extra $1,195. That package includes radar cruise control, blind-spot monitors, and parking sensors. From there, buyers can choose from a plethora of interior and exterior accessories to add.

When completely loaded to the gills, a Supra 3.0 Premium will cost $58,995. That includes two years of maintenance and 24-hour roadside assistance.

What does the Supra come standard with?

If you don’t want a Supra with all of the fixings, then you can always opt for a base Supra 2.0. That trim level comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that puts out 255 hp and it also has a few comfort, safety, and tech features up its sleeve. The most notable standard features include an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay, Bluetooth, and a four-speaker audio system.

If you would rather step up to the Supra 3.0 trim, then you’ll get the added benefit of a larger and more powerful 382-hp, 3.0-liter engine in addition to a couple of comfort features. Heated and powered seats join the roster of features in addition to a 10-speaker audio system, but the real difference lies in what you can’t see. The Supra 3.0 is also fitted with a limited-slip differential and an adaptive suspension.

Is it worth it to buy a fully loaded Supra?

Not really, unless you need the upgraded JBL sound system and Brembo calipers. Otherwise, we would suggest saving an extra $7,000 and going for the regular Supra 3.0 instead. It comes with the same engine and comfort features that you’ll need for a much lower price. Also, we would suggest forgoing the Driver Assist Package we found it to be OK in its operation and somewhat annoying at times.

But if you want everything that you can get on a 2022 Toyota Supra, then be sure to check all of the boxes when you purchase it. Even if you spend the extra cash, you’ll still have an amazing sports car for less than $60,000. And no, you won’t care that it has a BMW engine.
