The Honda Civic has been a staple in the compact car segment for nearly 50 years. It has been a front runner in its class and gets better and better with every generation. For the 2022 model year, Honda gave the Civic a more sophisticated look and updated technology, which was very well executed. In fact, we really enjoyed our time with it.

Honda has yet to release the full details for the 2023 Civic. However, we expect the model to be completely carryover, save for a few minor changes. As such, if you’re in the market for a fully loaded Civic, here is what you can likely expect it to cost for the next model year.

The 2023 Honda Civic Touring should cost the same as the 2022 model

Although the full pricing details on the forthcoming 2023 Honda Civic are yet to be released, we expect that it will carry the same price tag as the current model. That means that the top trim Civic Touring should cost around $30,500 including the $1,095 destination charge. Yes, we know, it’s a lot for a Civic, but that’s the cost of new cars nowadays.

The good thing is that the fully loaded Civic comes more well-equipped than ever before. Some of our favorite features on the Civic Touring include a full leather interior, the Bose premium 12-speaker sound system, and the wireless Apple Carplay/Android Auto connectivity. It also comes with a host of driver-assist features and safety monitors in addition to a remote engine start function. These are features that you would normally only find on a luxury car a few years ago.

If you don’t need all of that luxury, then the other Civic trims have you covered

In case you think spending $30,000 on a Honda Civic is blasphemy, then the lower trim levels have you covered. We expect the entry-level Civic LX to start at around $22,500 next year and be equipped with the same features. Some standard features include LED headlights, Apple Carplay/Android Auto, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and the Honda Sensing suite of driver-assist features.

To maximize your value, we suggest opting for the Civic EX trim level, which comes with a better engine and more technology. Under the hood is a 180-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter engine that’s connected to a CVT. On the inside, the Civic EX comes with an 8-speaker sound system, dual-zone climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a power moonroof. You can expect to pay around $25,600 for this trim level for the 2023 model year.

The biggest news is the 2023 Honda Civic Type R

While 2023 Civic details are still under wraps, Honda did announce that the 2023 Civic Type R will finally shed its camouflaged skin. In fact, the official debut date is set for July 20 and a leaked image of the full car has been floating around the Internet.
