Genesis says it developed the 2024 Genesis GV80 with a “less is more” mantra, but this SUV still doesn’t come cheap. The base model — the 2.5T I4 AWD — starts at $57,450. As the name suggests, this trim has a 300-hp 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It also has seating for five, matte wood trim, a front wireless device charger, and a heated steering wheel.

A comprehensive safety suite includes a segment-first center airbag. It also boasts numerous advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), such as lane following assist, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian and cyclist detection, and rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist. In addition, the safe exit assist helps keep occupants from stepping into traffic and protects oncoming cyclists from getting hit by the GV80’s doors.

Beyond the standard features, two optional packages upgrade the base-model GV80. Adding the Advanced Package costs $6,500. It includes 20-inch alloy wheels, leather seating surfaces, and a surround-view monitor. The Prestige Package costs a whopping $11,750. It adds 22-inch alloy wheels, an electronically controlled suspension, and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.

Premium exterior paint colors cost $575 extra, while accessories range from a $45 first-aid kit to $450 roof rack cross bars and a $500 tow hitch.

How much does a fully loaded 2024 Genesis GV80 cost, and what comes with it?

The 2024 Genesis GV80 offers three trim levels. They are the aforementioned five-seat 2.5T I4 AWD, the mid-range 3.5T V6 AWD (seating five or seven), and the top-tier 3.5T V6 AWD Prestige Signature (seating four).

Starting at $82,075, the Prestige Signature boasts most of the base model’s optional packages plus other upgrades. For instance, standard equipment includes a 375-hp V6, dark chrome trim, second-row wireless charging, and six-way second-row captain’s chairs with wing-style headrests.

The top trim also offers the same accessories as the base model for an upcharge. However, exterior paint colors for the Prestige Signature are more expensive, ranging from $575 to $1,500.

Adding all the accessories, the priciest exterior paint option, and a $1,125 freight charge brings the total for a fully loaded 2024 Genesis GV80 to $85,290.
