Kia offers several excellent SUVs, including the subcompact Seltos. Because subcompact SUVs are the smallest in the segment, they’re also among the cheapest. That leaves more room in the budget to splurge on options, packages, and upgrades. Here’s what shoppers should expect to pay for a fully loaded 2024 Kia Seltos.

Here’s what comes with a standard 2024 Kia Seltos

The 2024 Seltos boasts a refresh that significantly improves every trim. Kia offers five trim levels of the subcompact SUV. The LX is the base trim, starting at $24,390. The standard engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, producing 146 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque.

In terms of dimensions, the standard trim is the same as the others, so the LX has as much passenger and cargo room as the range-topping trims. Every 2024 Seltos has 26.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the back row and 62.8 cubic feet with the rear seats folded.

Standard tech features include a 4.2-inch digital gauge cluster display and an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration are also standard. In addition, expect a few advanced driver-assistance (ADAS) features, such as forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking.

How much is a fully loaded 2024 Kia Seltos?

The 2024 Kia Seltos’ top trim is the SX, starting at $29,990. It swaps out the standard 2.0-liter engine for a 1.6-liter turbocharger four-cylinder, harnessing 195 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. That’s a 20-hp boost over the 2023 model’s turbo-four.

The SX trim also sports 18-inch wheels and LED headlights and taillights. But the most significant upgrades are inside. Both the digital gauge cluster and touchscreen are 10.25 inches. The front seats are heated, and the upholstery is synthetic leather instead of cloth.

In addition, the SX is the only trim with a cargo cover and auto-dimming rearview mirror as standard equipment. Other upscale features are wireless phone charging, an eight-speaker premium audio system, and push-button start capability. Kia also gave the top trim more ADAS features, such as blind-spot collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and highway driving assist. 

The automaker also offers numerous options to upgrade the SX further. Adding all of them totals just over $35,000 for a fully loaded 2024 Kia Seltos.

Pricing for options, packages, and accessories

Kia offers only one package for the 2024 Seltos SX. Priced at $1,200, the SX Sunroof Package adds a sunroof, an automatic power liftgate, a digital key, and ventilated front seats.

Shoppers also have 13 exterior paint colors to choose from. Some are free, but Fusion Black, Snow White Pearl, Neptune Blue, and a few others cost $395 each.

Furthermore, buyers can purchase 11 accessories for the 2024 Seltos. They range from a $55 cargo net to $360 cross bars. A $300 “lifestyle hitch” (trailer hitch) is one of the more popular accessories. The $275 puddle lights are another common option. And to make this small SUV more luxurious, consumers can add illuminated door scuff plates for $325 and an interior light kit for $300.
