Kia Motors is redefining its brand and how we think of luxury in a big way. This has been made evident with the Kia Stinger, which can actually hold its own against the likes of BMW. Another luxury model in Kia’s lineup that’s generating buzz is the 2020 Cadenza.  Here we will show you why these Kia models are hard to overlook.

The Kia Stinger offers sportscar performance and sensibility 

• GT-Line: $33,090

It’s true that the Stinger is a great luxury car. The Stinger is posh, comfortable, and its turbocharged engines make it even more fun. With the entry-level GT-Line model, you get a sufficient turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates a 255-horsepower.  Standard leather trimmings throughout the cabin naturally makes this sedan feel more upscale.

If more power is what you want, there’s a 3.3-liter V6 twin-turbo engine available that creates a 365-horsepower. The V6 option is featured on the GT model and above; all-wheel drive is available no matter which engine you pick. That being said, we think it’s worth going up to the GT level for the punchier engine.

An increasingly important aspect of all cars, especially luxurious ones is the infotainment features. A 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto connectivity come standard on the lower trims.  On the GT1 and GT2 models, the main difference is that you get an 8-inch touchscreen and a fancier sound system.

In general, the Stinger’s infotainment displays are easy to use. The Stinger also has desirable advanced safety features like blind-spot detect, lane-change assist, and rear-cross traffic alert which all come standard. The main drawback you should be aware of on the Stinger is its low fuel economy. 

The Kia Cadenza is pretty great too

The Kia Cadenza is one of the best large sedans you can buy, especially for families. In fact, the 2019 Cadenza gained plenty of positive reviews from critics and consumers alike because of its high-tech safety features, luxurious comfort, and infotainment. The 2020 Cadenza is scheduled to come out later this year and promises to be even more luxurious.

For 2020, Kia has simplified the Cadenza to just two trim levels, eliminating the “Premium” base model from 2019. The 2020 Cadenza has a refreshed exterior, updated dashboard, and a new 12.3-inch touchscreen. We’re also excited that Kia has made more driver-assist features standard on the Cadenza including a new navigation system, automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and lane-keeping assist.

The lavish cabin drivers originally fell in love with is even more refined in the 2020 Cadenza model which features supportive, quilted seats and wonderful outward visibility. Trunk space has also been expanded from the 2019 model to carry more cargo.

If you’re looking for luxury and comfort, we would recommend the Cadenza. But if you want more performance capability you’ll probably want to go with the Stinger.
