Good Luck Besting the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class SUV
The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB250 tester I recently had really opened my eyes to the Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class SUV line. It slots just between the GLA and GLC-Class models in a way that’s just right. It’s no wonder some fans say that the “GLB” in GLB-Class stands for good luck besting. This Mercedes SUV is tough to beat.
Is the Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class a good SUV?
Yes, this is a good SUV. Edmunds calls it “exceptionally comfortable, suitably luxurious, and loaded with appealing technology.” U.S. News and World Report also gives high praise for the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class.
“The GLB sports a high-end interior with easy-to-use tech features, a large cargo area, and seating for up to seven passengers––a rarity in this class.”
U.S. News and World Report
With above average reliability rankings from critics like J.D. Power, it’s hard to argue with this Mercedes SUV. Not only is it the perfect size for many households, but it also boasts a reasonable starting price. According to U.S. News, the GLB-Class starts at $38,050. It’s a great all-around SUV that offers a lot of luxury in an affordable package. Our tester was decked out and still came in under $50 grand.
Unexpected 2021 GLB-Class features
Not only does this family Benz offer up a healthy list of standard features, but it also has tons of available options. Packages and upgrades can definitely crank up the cost of your Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class. However, you can pretty up opt into any additional interior features you want.
One of the most unexpected 2021 GLB-Class features is its optional third row. It’s not often that an SUV of this size offers that. It’s a great size for children only and diminishes the wealth of cargo space completely. But it’s still nice to have the option on the table for families that sometimes need an extra seat or two.
Good luck besting
With a rugged boxy style, affordable starting price, and a long list of available 2021 GLB-Class features, it’s easy to say this Mercedes SUV is hard to beat. My family of four fit easily inside and it actually accommodated us better than expected considering its size.
I would recommend the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB-250 to families with a budget between $35 and $50 grand. It’s a great luxury SUV option with a small foot print. And, in spite of its compact stature, the 2021 GLB-Class offers the option of a third row.
“Overall we’d recommend the GLB over its BMW X1, Audi Q3, and Volvo XC40 competitors…”
Edmunds
The lighting packages and upgraded tech in our tester were really fun and totally worth the extra spend. The infotainment and navigation systems are easy to learn even though there is such a broad spectrum of customizable features. Add in the comfortable kinetic seats, quiet ride, and decent efficiency and the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB250 is a complete package. Good luck besting the GLB-Class Mercedes SUV.
