Finally, Stellantis is catching up to rivals by starting the Ram Revolution. The Ram 1500 EV is on the way, and it could be called the Revolution. Currently, Stellnatis is asking for your input to make the new electric truck the best it can be. 

Join the Ram Revolution 

Ram Revolution is an interesting name for an electric truck, but it’s not exactly official. The truck could be called the 2024 Ram 1500 BEV instead. BEV stands for battery electric vehicle. Car and Driver mentioned that it might be called the Ram 1500 EV too. 

So what exactly is the Ram Revolution? It’s sort of a movement. You can visit RamRevolution.com to receive exclusive updates about the electric Ram truck that’s expected to arrive in 2024. 

Instead of being the name of the truck, it’s currently a program allowing fans to provide input about the truck and other electric vehicles. Stellantis will incorporate learning from crowdsourced feedback. This means that you have the chance to offer your comments, questions, and concerns to help craft better vehicles. 

What to expect with the Ram 1500 BEV 

The Ram Revolution is just starting, so we’re still waiting to learn more. However, the website will provide a more in-depth look at the creation and development process of Ram electric vehicles. We could learn more any day now! 

Ram also plans to conduct a year-long study, known as the Ram Real Talk Tour, to discuss electric vehicles with customers. They will use these conversations to discover what customers actually want and need from electric trucks and vans for everyday life. 

Ram CEO Mike Koval, Jr shared that Ram revolutionized the pickup truck segment when launched as a stand-alone brand in 2009. Now Ram is laser-focused on revolutionizing things again with the best electric trucks on the market. 

He explained that the new Ram Revolution campaign allows Stellantis to engage with customers in a close and personal manner to gather insightful feedback, understand wants and needs, and address their concerns while delivering the Ram 1500 BEV as the best electric pickup truck on the market.

The Ram 1500 BEV will be the brand’s first electric truck. Also, the 2023 Ram Promaster EV will be here soon. Ram will offer each of its truck and vans with electrified variants by 2030, so it’s time to collect data and get moving. 

What do Ram 1500 EV fans want? 

One big thing that should emerge from the Ram Revolution for the Ram 1500 BEV is range. We have range anxiety and don’t want to run out of charge. Americans seek about 500 miles of range on a single charge, while people in other countries are satisfied with between 200 to 300 miles of range. 

Also, American’s are concerned about charging infrastructure. Are there enough places to charge trucks and vans? Also, people want to charge their vehicles quickly. Stopping during a road trip to charge for 20 minutes or more isn’t ideal. 

Last but not least, people are concerned about the price of electric vehicles. Electric work trucks are starting at around $40,000, which is pretty high. Perhaps state tax incentives can help.
