Here’s When You Can Order the 2023 Ford Bronco
Are you ready to order a brand-new Ford Bronco? Well, what are you waiting for? The order books are officially open. You may have thought that retail orders wouldn’t open this year, and that you would have to wait for the 2024 orders to open. However, things have changed, and the 2023 Ford Bronco order banks running wild.
When can you order a 2023 Ford Bronco?
You can currently order the 2023 Ford Bronco. It hasn’t sold out yet, but inventory is pretty tight. According to Ford Authority, new customers got the green light to place their order on March 27, 2023. However, because The 2023 Bronco is facing supply constraints, it’s currently unclear which models and packages are available.
The order banks didn’t open back in August 2022 to ensure that existing orders could be filled. However, the Sasquatch package, molded-in color hardtop, Lux package, and Wilktrak models are in limited supply.
Ford offered customers that are waiting for those options $2,500 to switch to different options or $2,500 to cancel their order. If they don’t change things, then their order could be canceled. As a result, they will have to wait for a 2024 Bronco.
This move may have freed up enough inventory to open the order banks. These orders are not price protected. Also, those who had to convert their 2022 orders to a 2023 model may have been canceled. They needed to update their model by November.
Some cancellation emails were sent out in error. If you have a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) for your 023 Bronco, then your order is safe.
2023 Bronco: What’s new?
Not much is changing for the 2023 Ford Bronco. However, the retro-inspired Ford Bronco Heritage Edition is here. It features style aspects from the original 1966 model, so it might remind you of an earlier time.
Each model has an Oxford While roof, grille, and 17-inch aluminum wheels designed to look like steelies. It’s available in multiple paint shades, including the new Robin’s Egg Blue and Yellow Metallic hues. These models are finally starting to arrive at dealerships.
The Bronco Heritage Edition is based on the Big Bend trim and comes with the 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 300 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. It can be paired with the 10-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmission.
Plus, the 2023 Bronco Heritage model can be equipped with the Sasquatch package if it’s available. It adds 35-inch tires, a wider track, an off-road-tuned suspension, fender flares, a powered coated front steel bumper, tow hooks, and foglights.
How much does the 2023 Bronco cost?
The 2023 Ford Bronco price starts at about $32,295, and the range-topping Ford Bronco Raptor trim takes the price up to $73,780. These prices are the MSRPs and don’t include the $1,595 destination fee or dealership markups.
If you don’t get a 2023 Bronco in, then you might be able to snag one at a dealership. The 2023 Bronco wait time is about four to six months long. However, if you went for an option that’s in limited supply, then it could take much longer.
Luckily, 2023 Bronco production started in October, so Ford could be catching up on its massive backlog. If you want the chance to get a new order in, don’t hesitate. We have a feeling that the available models won’t last long.
