Players will enlist in Hot Wheels Academy, starting a brand new racing adventure in a B Class 2013 Hot Wheels Baja Bone Shaker. Players need to complete missions, challenges, and activities to unlock new Hot Wheels Heats events to play. These are included in the expansion along with new accolades, Bonus Boards, Floating Pinata collectibles, PR Stunts, and Hot Wheels seasonal events.

To begin the expansion, players must finish the main game’s Initial Experience. Fortunately, it only takes about an hour to finish if you haven’t completed it or are new to the game. Once complete, players can tackle the brand-new Hot Wheels expansion in co-op with their friends online. In addition, players will unlock free Fast Travel immediately at the Horizon Hot Wheels Park.

However, the most remarkable feature might be the ability to build your own Hot Wheels track using the newly improved EventLab toolset. There are over 80 new track and stunt pieces that snap together, creating the ultimate Hot Wheels track you’ve always wanted.
