But J.D. Power did give the Odyssey slightly better ratings. The 2021 Honda Odyssey earned a ‘Great’ quality and reliability rating, as did the 2020 Odyssey. So, while Consumer Reports may have given the Odyssey lower ratings, it’s worth keeping in mind that J.D. Power didn’t necessarily agree with its assessment.

After analyzing more than 15.8 million cars sold in 2019 to determine which models have the highest percentage of vehicles that reached 200,000-miles, iSee Cars found that 2.7% of Odyssey models made it to 200,000-miles. The Odyssey was the only minivan to make iSee Car’s list of longest-lasting passenger cars too.
