In a recent study, iSeeCars analyzed upwards of 15.8 million cars sold in 2019 to find out which models have the highest percentage of vehicles that reached 200,000-miles. According to iSee Car’s data, the Avalon ranked as the longest-lasting large sedan in its segment. That’s not all, either.

According to iSee Cars, 2.6% of Toyota Avalon models sold in 2019 reached 200,000-miles. The Avalon was the only sedan to show up on iSee Cars’ list of ‘Longest-Lasting Vehicles to Reach 200k Miles’ too.

“The Toyota Avalon is known for its excellent reliability ratings and is consistently at the top of its class for vehicle rankings,” explained iSeeCars CEO Phong Ly. “The Avalon provides a spacious interior and serves as a capable and comfortable alternative for those who want a reliable family hauler but don’t require the expansive cargo space of a large SUV or minivan.”

Reaching that 200,000-mile mark is going to take some effort

Now, there are plenty of reasons 2.6% of Toyota Avalon models sold in 2019 were able to last for 200,000-miles. After all, the Avalon is reliable, safe, and it’s built pretty well. But those aren’t the only reasons that some Avalon models were able to surpass 200,000-miles.

While oil changes and tire rotations aren’t the most convenient tasks, regularly scheduled maintenance is the easiest way to ensure that your Avalon reaches the 200,000-mile mark.
