The 2023 Honda HR-V is Honda’s smallest and cheapest SUV option

According to Honda, the HR-V is the automaker’s most affordable SUV option right now, as it starts at just under $24,000. The HR-V competes in the subcompact SUV segment, and Honda only gave the SUV a single engine option. It comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, and it gets 158 hp.

With the standard front-wheel drive configuration, the HR-V gets an estimated 26 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on highways, for 29 mpg combined. Honda notably redesigned the HR-V for the 2023 model year, and it now shares a lot of similarities with the famous Honda Civic. Since it’s an SUV though, the HR-V gets more cargo capacity than the Civic, as it tops out at 55.1 cu. ft.

The CR-V is Honda’s most popular and best-selling SUV option, and it’s easy to see why. This compact SUV has won a lot of awards and it routinely gets great ratings from car critics. The CR-V starts at about $31,000, and Honda offers a hybrid option that starts at $32,500 instead.

There’s only one engine option, and it’s a 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder that gets 190 hp. The regular CR-V gets an estimated 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on highways, for 31 mpg combined. The CR-V Hybrid, meanwhile, gets an estimated 43 mpg in the city and 46 mpg on highways, for 45 mpg combined.

The 2023 Honda Pilot is a good SUV that can comes with three rows of seats

The Pilot is one of Honda’s largest SUV options, and it’s in the midsize SUV segment. The Pilot starts at about $39,000, and like many other Honda SUVs, there’s only one engine option. Honda gave the Pilot a 3.5-liter V6, and it gets 285 hp. This engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive is available as an option.

The standard Pilot gets an estimated 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on highways, for 22 mpg combined. The main thing separating the Pilot from other Honda SUVs is its seating capacity, as it has three rows of seats. This will allow the Honda SUV to seat up to eight people.

The 2023 Honda Passport is a great SUV in many ways

The Passport is also one of Honda’s largest SUV options, and like the Pilot, it also competes in the midsize SUV segment. That being said, there are some significant differences between the two Hondas. The Passport is a little more expensive, as it starts at about $41,000. On top of that, the Passport can only seat up to five people.

That being said, for the 2023 model year, Honda gave the Passport all-wheel drive as a standard feature. The Passport has a 3.5-liter V6 that gets 280 hp, and it’s paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission. This allows the Passport to get an estimated 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on highways, for 22 mpg combined.
