How much does the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor cost? 

You can get started in the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor for about $52,500. This pricing information was leaked by Ford Authority. It claims that the information was provided by sources familiar with the matter. 

So, we wouldn’t be surprised if things changed because the Ford Ranger Raptor hasn’t made its debut yet, and it hasn’t gone on sale. However, it is expected to come out sometime this month. We can’t wait to see this new beast! 

The $52,500 price might be the MSRP. That means it doesn’t include the destination charge or dealership markups. The current Ranger has a $1,295 destination charge, which is about average. 

What else do we know about the Ranger Raptor? 

Hopefully, the 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor won’t cause a fender flare catastrophe like the Ford Bronco Raptor did. Fans of the Bronco Raptor really don’t like how awkward the large fender flares look. 

But it’s important to remember that the enlarged fender flares are necessary to provide full protection. Also, the Ford Ranger Raptor will probably look like a Ford Maverick that’s a little larger and a lot meaner. 

The Ranger Raptor will probably have a blacked-out grille that says, ‘FORD,’ across the front to match the Bronco Raptor and the larger Ford F-150 Raptor. It could have enhanced front and rear bumpers too. 

It’s safe to expect that the Ranger Raptor will have a factory-installed lifted suspension with beefy skid plates to protect the undercarriage too. It could have a wider track, like the Bronco Raptor too. 

Like its big brother, the F-150 Raptor, the Ranger Raptor could gain Fox adaptive dampers and ride on 37-inch BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain tires. 

How much power does the Ranger Raptor have? 

The 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor could gain the 2.7-liter V6 engine with 360 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque from the Ford Bronco. But It could also get the 3.0-liter V6 engine with 400 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque. 

If that doesn’t sound like enough power, rumors suggest that a more powerful Ford Ranger Raptor R is on the way. This model could have a V8 or hybrid power. Also, now we won’t be surprised if the American Ranger Raptor is a little tame at first. 

The Ford Ranger Raptor may have more power in other countries such as Australia because there are less strict emission standards to meet. We’ve always been jealous of the turbo-diesel engine options overseas! 

We hope that the Ranger Raptor is available with a manual transmission. However, its engine will most likely be paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Also, it will ride on the Ford T6 body-on-frame architecture that was enhanced for the Ford Bronco.
