It might seem a little expensive for a Nissan crossover, but it’s pretty affordable compared to other similarly-equipped electric crossover SUVs.
How much does each 2023 Nissan Ariya trim level cost?
The 2023 Nissan Ariya is launching with four different trim levels in its lineup. The bottom trim is called Venture+ and is the most affordable option. As one would expect, the top trim is called Platinum+ e-4ORCE, and it’s much more expensive. However, even the most expensive trim is still well-priced compared to other electric crossover models.

Major differences in each trim
The price for each of these trim levels varies greatly; what makes the higher trims worth so much more? The most prominent feature is the dual-motor in the Platinum model. Each of the bottom three trims come with the same single-motor, 87-kWh battery setup making 238 horsepower. The base model, Venture+, gets a driving range of 300 miles, while the middle two options have only 285 driving miles. The Platinum+ e-4ORCE trim comes with dual motors and the same battery for its powertrain. That’s enough to boost the top trim to 389 horsepower and drop its driving range down to 265 miles.
There’s a similar pattern as far as the 2023 Nissan Ariya‘s drivetrain goes. The top trim is the only model that will come with all-wheel drive as its standard. All three of the other trim levels have front-wheel drive and a better driving range as a result.

Nissan announced it opened a particular online portal for any customers wanting to reserve a 2023 Nissan Ariya. Although Ariya deliveries won’t begin until next Fall, those interested can customize the vehicle to their liking right now. The portal allows you to place a deposit and complete the entire process online so that all that’s left is receiving the vehicle next year.
In addition, Nissan is giving a little extra to the first 10,000 people to reserve an Ariya. If customers put down a minimum of a $500 fully-refundable deposit before January 31, 2022, they will qualify for a free two-year EVgo membership and $500 in charging credits. According to Nissan, that’ll be good for 5,000 miles in the base model getting 300 miles per charge.
The 2023 Nissan Ariya looks like an excellent little electric crossover. There’s plenty to like about it, but we’re still a year away from seeing one on the road. Thankfully, we already know how much it will cost. According to Motor1, Nissan stated previously that the starting horsepower would be lower than the base model. That tells us there could be more, less expensive trims entering the lineup before Fall 2022. This is fantastic news because the Venture+ model is more expensive than the starting price for the Ford Mustang Mach-E.
