If you are in the market for a two-door luxury sports coupe and you’re curious about what Audi has to offer in the A5, you’ve come to the right place. Let’s take a look at a fully loaded A5 Coupe, find out what you get for your money and if it’s worth it.

Audi’s expansive model range encompasses eight different A5s. There is the Coupe, the four-door Sportback, the Cabriolet, and the S and RS versions of those cars. We’re going to take a look at the A5 Coupe, and if we want the best version, we need to choose the Prestige trim.

The A5 Coupe has three trim levels, the Premium, Premium Plus, and the Prestige. Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 261 horsepower and 273-pound feet of torque. That is good enough to propel the A5 from 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds and onward to a limited top speed of 130 mph.

All A5 Coupes come standard with the S Tronic dual-clutch transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system.

As you might expect from a premium luxury brand like Audi, there is a lot of standard equipment in the Prestige trim. Ibis White and Turbo Blue are the two standard colors. They pair with a set of 18-inch wheels wearing all-season rubber. Audi’s Matrix LED headlights with laser high beams and a panoramic sunroof are also a part of the Prestige trim.

On the inside, you’ll find heated leather seating with wood trim. A 12.3-inch digital dashboard handles vehicle information with a heads-up display, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen controls infotainment. Navigation is standard, as is a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system and a 360-degree camera.

The two-door Audi does quite well on the safety and driver assistance front. Standard features include pre-collision warnings, active lane assist, cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, and adaptive cruise control.

Options to fully load an Audi A5 Coupe

Starting with the exterior, there are six additional colors outside of the two standard options. Each adds $595 to the cost of an A5. Audi also gives you the exclusive special paint color option, which allows you to have an A5 in any color you can dream of, for $3,900. It should be noted that selecting specific paint colors, like the excellent District Green metallic, require other options.

The 19-inch, five-spoke-Cavo design wheels are an $800 option and the only wheel from Audi to be offered outside of a larger package. Speaking of packages, there are four available on the A5 Coupe. The S Line interior package, for $800, includes leather/Dinamica seats, brushed aluminum trim, and stainless steel pedals.

The Black Optic Plus package, at $2,000, adds 19-inch five-spoke-Cutter design wheels, high-gloss black exterior trim, a matte-black grille, and red brake calipers. You can also add a contrasting black roof to the A5 for an additional $300.

The last option is for ventilated front seats. This adds $800 to the cost of an A5 Coupe but is not available with the S Line interior package. In total, a fully loaded 2022 Audi A5 Coupe costs $60,240 with the $1,095 destination charge.

Is a fully loaded A5 Coupe worth it?

Yes, it is worth $60,000. You get a lot of car, technology, style, and comfort. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class may edge the Audi on the design side, and the BMW 4 Series Coupe is the better handling and driving car, but the A5 is the most complete car.

Audi has long been known for the quality and comfort of its interiors. If you are in the market for a stylish coupe with top levels of comfort and quality, the A5 should be on your shortlist. $60,000 is a significant amount of money for a two-door car. However, the A5 offers all of the latest technology and safety features along with high-end features that you can’t get anywhere else.

Going fully loaded gives you the best of everything. But, if you don’t need every bell and whistle, the Prestige Plus, is a great sweet spot in the A5 range.
