Yet if you’re considering dropping six figures on an SUV, you’re going to want to think carefully about your purchase. The 2022 Bentley Bentayga starts at $185,000. Yeah, that’s a lot of money, but you’re getting a high-end luxury SUV with a lot of bells and whistles. The 2022 Bentley Bentayga has two engine choices, a super nice interior, and the Bentley name.

The 2022 Bentley Bentayga has plenty of cargo space in both the trunk and behind the seats, according to Car and Driver. The Bentayga also has leather seats, a wood and metal-accented interior, and the option of bucket seats in both the front and the back.

The 2022 Bentayga has a top-notch entertainment system

The 2022 Bentayga comes with a 10.9-inch infotainment screen with navigation. It’s compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Bentayga also has two 10.2-inch display screens for the second-row to use. Not only can rear-seat passengers watch movies, they can also use the internet or use the infotainment system. The Bentayga also has a 12-speaker sound system.

In addition, the Bentayga comes with some really important safety features – if you pay for them. While it does come with automatic emergency braking, you have to pay extra for lane departure warning and lane-keeping assist. You’ll also have to pay more to get adaptive cruise control and night-vision.

How fast is the Bentley Bentayga?

The 2022 Bentley Bentayga has a twin-turbo V8 engine that can put out 542 hp and is matched to an eight-speed transmission. It comes standard with all-wheel drive. You can also upgrade to the Bentley Bentayga Speed and get a W-12 engine that makes 626 hp. This is the version of the 2022 Bentley Bentayga that’s thought to be the fastest SUV on the planet. It can go from 0 to 60 in just 3.8 seconds.

Unfortunately, these engine choices don’t make for great gas mileage.  The 2022 Bentley Bentayga Speed gets just 12 mpg in the city, 17 on the highway, and a combined 14 mpg. The Bentley Bentayga V8 engine gets 14 mpg in the city, 23 mpg on the highway, and 17 mpg combined.

The 2022 Bentley Bentayga price may be high, but you do get an awful lot for it. Perhaps you don’t get so much that it makes more sense than buying say, the $50,000 2022 Genesis GV80, but then again, that’s not a Bentley. Plus, the 2022 Bentley Bentayga comes with a three-year warranty without any mileage limitations. That’s got to be worth at least $100,000, right?
