How much does a 2022 GMC Canyon cost?

The 2022 GMC Canyon price starts at $27,995. That’s for the base model, the Elevation Standard. Car and Driver recommends the GMC Canyon Elevation, which starts at $31,495. The AT4 is the off-road version, and it costs $39,545. And the high-end Denali will set you back at least $42,295.

It’s easy to make that price higher. If you get the Denali with a 4WD Crew Cab and 2.8-liter turbo diesel 4-cylinder engine matched to a six-speed automatic transmission, it will cost you $50,045. Throw in the Cayenne Red Tintcoat, a performance skid plate package, aluminum wheels, and a few exterior accessories to drive it up to $56,145. And there are always extras like tents and floor mats that can be added on for a truly high-end truck.

Is the Canyon a good truck?

Car and Driver says that the 2022 GMC Canyon is a great truck for anyone who wants the capabilities of a full-size truck but would prefer something a little smaller. That describes the Canyon perfectly. It has a V6 engine, a body-on-frame construction, and can tow up to 7,700 pounds. There’s an off-road version, the AT4, and you can get an extended or crew cab and choose from two different beds to really customize the Canyon the way you want it.

The Canyon also comes standard with a 7-inch touchscreen, is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible, and has a six-speaker sound system. Higher trim levels add features like a sliding rear window, cruise control, and LED lights. The Denali has an 8-inch touchscreen, Bose sound system, and heated steering wheel, as well as a spray-in bedliner.

Is the GMC Canyon the same as the Chevy Colorado?

Car and Driver says the 2022 GMC Canyone is as versatile as the 2022 Chevy Colorado, but it looks better. In fact, it calls the Colorado “classier and more mature.” Structurally, the two sibling trucks are basically the same. In addition to the styling being different, it’s the GMC Canyon’s Denali trim level that further separates the Canyon from the Colorado. If you’re looking for a luxury midsize pickup truck, the 2022 GMC Canyone will be the truck you want.

The 2022 GMC Canyon price is higher than the Colorado‘s, but if you’re looking for a midsize truck with excellent capabilities and upscale touches, it’s a great truck. With the ability to customize your cab and bed options, as well as the features that come in the Denali trim level, the Canyon is perfect for someone who wants a really nice truck but still be able to tow a decent amount.
