How much is the 2022 Land Rover Discovery?

The 2022 Land Rover Discovery price starts at $53,900 and goes up to $68,900. There are three trim levels available: the S, S R-Dynamic, and HSE R-Dynamic. As one might imagine, the price increases as you go up the trim level ladder, with the HSE R-Dynamic being the most expensive Discovery.

You can also choose from three different engine options. There’s a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 296 hp. Also available is a turbocharged inline-six that puts out 355 hp. There’s a hybrid option available on the S R-Dynamic. The HSE R-Dynamic comes standard with the hybrid powertrain. All of these engines are matched to all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Defenders are well-equipped

The base model 2022 Land Rover Defender S comes standard with 20-inch wheels, a panoramic glass roof, and LED headlights. It also has fog lights, keyless entry and ignition, and power-adjustable seats. As far as technology, the 2022 Defender has an 11.4-inch touchscreen and is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There are USB ports throughout the cabin and a surround-view camera system.

The Discovery S has options such as adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, third-row seating, and a premium sound system. You can also get a cold climate package that includes a heated steering wheel and windshield as well as heated headlight washers. Conversely, you may want the hot weather package, which has a chilled center console, four-zone climate control, and a cabin air purifier.

The Discovery S R-Dynamic price starts at $63,250, and the HSE R-Dynamic price starts at $70,250. With the HSE R-Dynamic, you’ll get 22-inch wheels, a hands-free tailgate, adaptive cruise control, and heated and ventilated front seats. The HSE R-Dynamic Discovery also has heated rear seats, a power-folding third row, and a premium sound system. You can add on a towing package and a ventilated second row.

Are Land Rovers reliable?

The reliability rating for the 2022 Land Rover Discovery could be better. It gets just a 2/5 for reliability from Consumer Reports. Consumer Reports has determined this number by taking into account the reliability of the entirety of the Land Rover brand. Unfortunately, that means that you may run into some trouble with your Land Rover Discovery. In addition, the Discovery ranks twelfth out of twenty-one SUVs on Consumer Reports’ rankings.

In addition, the Land Rover Defender has a predicted owner satisfaction score of just two out of five. To determine the predicted reliability score, Consumer Reports sends out surveys to current owners to find out what they love – and what they hate – about their vehicles. While Consumer Reports thinks that 2022 Land Rover Defender owners aren’t going to be so thrilled with their SUVs in a few years, 76% of Land Rover defender owners said they would buy their SUV again. That’s good for fourth place.
