How Much Does a Fully Loaded 2022 Lexus LX600 Cost?
The 2022 Lexus LX600 is sweeping into the United States as a luxury replacement for the Toyota Land Cruiser. While some may never get over the fact that Toyota has discontinued the Land Cruiser, others will be glad for the upscale SUV that’s taking its place. Here’s what we know about the 2022 Lexus LX600 so far, including its price (and how high that price can get).
How much is the 2022 Lexus LX600?
The 2022 Lexus LX600 price starts at $88,245, which sound both like a lot and also like a pretty good deal. While $88,000 may be kind of a lot to spend on an SUV, it isn’t really that much more than the outgoing Toyota Land Cruiser was. In fact, Car and Driver reports that it’s only $1,215 more than the 2021 Land Cruiser was. Add to that the fact that this is a pretty large luxury SUV, and you might not mind its high price tag.
The 2022 Lexus LX600 price of $88,245 is far from as high as the total cost can go. There are several trim levels available, including the Premium and Luxury levels, and the super-high end Ultra Luxury trim level. The Premium trim level costs $96,345 while the Luxury trim level costs $104,345. The Ultra Luxury model takes things to a new dimension and its price starts at $127,345. There’s also an F Sport model which costs $102,345.
Does the LX600 have eight seats?
No, despite the 2022 Lexus LX600 large size, it isn’t quite an eight-seater. Instead, the base LX600 holds only five passengers. You can get up to seven passengers in there if you opt for the Premium trim level. Oddly enough, the most expensive Lexus LX600 has the least amount of passenger capacity. The Ultimate Luxury trim level can seat only four passengers. However, when you consider its layout, you might not find it to be that strange.
The 2022 Lexus LX600 Ultimate Luxury trim level has two captain’s chairs that have a massaging function. These seats are premium quality, and the passenger side has a reclining ability and a sliding ottoman for the utmost comfort.
When can you order the LX600?
You should be able to order the 2022 Lexus LX600 in the next few months. Lexus has said that will be available in the first quarter of 2022. All Lexus LX600 SUV models will come with a twin-turbo 3.4-liter V6 engine that makes 409 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. This is matched to a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.
Will the 2022 Lexus LX600 be good enough to fill the gaping hole that the Toyota Land Cruiser has left? It’s possible that it will be even better. And the roomy and luxurious Ultimate Luxury trim level will bring a new realm of fine finishes and accents that might make you glad that it’s here to stay. Of course, that’s if you can get past the high price point of the 2022 Lexus LX600 Ultra Luxury.
