The Genesis GV70 has been a welcome addition to the luxury SUV market. It’s a smaller sibling to the Genesis GV80 and it combines a supremely nice interior and exterior with top-notch crash test ratings and safety features. Now the 2023 Genesis GV70 is here, and with it comes an updated SUV with everything you need and a few things you don’t, which is always nice. How much does the 2023 Genesis GV70 cost?

The 2023 Genesis GV70 price starts at $42,900. There’s also a 3.5T Sports GV70 that starts at $55,000. Kelley Blue Book says that it’s a “fantastic first purchase for newcomers to the luxury compact SUV world.” Yet it’s still nice enough that someone who’s been in the luxury vehicle game for a while will be very pleased with what it has to offer. 

The 2023 Genesis GV70 hasn’t changed much from the 2022 Genesis GV70, and that’s a good thing. It comes standard with a 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. The 3.5T GV70 has a twin-turbo V6 engine. In addition, the Sport version gets some exterior changes like a darker grille, dual exhaust, and larger front air intakes. 

The Genesis GV70 comes with some pretty great niceties 

The 2023 Genesis GV70 comes with a 14.5-inch infotainment screen and Kelley Blue Book says the “graphics are super-crisp.” In addition to this it has a navigation system, is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and also comes with a wireless charging pad. It also has a digital key, 3-D digital gauge cluster, and remote smart parking. I’m the GV70 even comes with a 16-speaker sound system. 

You can upgrade your new GV70 with features 

The 2023 Genesis GV70 may already come stocked with a plethora of enticing features, but there’s still more that you can add on. If you include everything possible in your new luxury SUV, it will cost you approximately an additional $10,000. So what kinds of things can you add on to your GV70? 

New for 2023, you can add a heated steering wheel and three-zone automatic climate control to the base GV70. This is an extra package for the base model GV70, but you can get simulated leather standard in the base model. 

In the 3.5T GV70, you’ll get seats that have a “programmed set of stretch movements to relieve pressure on the lumbar region and pelvis,” which is even better than massage seats. 

If you’re in the market for a new compact luxury SUV you can’t go wrong with the 2023 Genesis GV70. It’s a super nice SUV that also happens to have excellent standard features and luxurious add-ons. It also has a pretty affordable price as far as luxury SUVs go, making it the perfect choice for someone looking to buy their first luxury SUV or someone who wants something small that has everything.
