How much is the 2023 Toyota Sequoia?

The 2023 Toyota Sequoia price is likely to start around $60,000, according to Car and Driver. Of course, it’s always possible to upgrade your SUV. You can get the total cost of the new Sequoia as high as about $77,000 for the Toyota Sequoia Capstone model. Or, even more for the TRD Pro model which starts a bit higher than the Capstone at $77,660.

This isn’t far off from the 2022 Toyota Sequoia, which starts at $55,220. It’s also pretty comparable to other full-size three-row SUVs in its class. The 2022 Sequoia has several trim levels available, with the high-end Platinum price starting at $71,270. Trim levels in between those bookends include the TRD Sport, Limited, Nightshade Special Edition, and TRD Pro.

Is the Toyota Sequoia being redesigned?

Yes, the 2023 Toyota Sequoia is being redesigned. This newest version of Toyota’s three-row SUV sees updated technology, a new and nicer interior, and “more efficient powertrains.” In fact, Toyota is so determined to make sure that the Sequoia is going to be efficient that it’s only coming as a hybrid.

The 2023 Toyota Sequoia has a twin-turbo V6 engine and a 1.5 kWh battery pack. This is matched to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The new hybrid Sequoia engine will make 437 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque. The Sequoia is built on the same platform as the Tundra, the Lexus LX, and the no-longer-in-the-United-States Toyota Land Cruiser. It will also come with an available TRD Pro model, which is Toyota’s off-road version of vehicles.

The new Sequoia will come with an awful lot

The 2023 Toyota Sequoia has an upgraded infotainment system. It comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen, though a 14-inch screen is available. It also has a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and be compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 2023 Sequoia can tow up to 9,520 pounds. To make towing easier, there is an available tow package, which adds on a trailer backup guide, mirrors, and a surround-view camera.

As far as space, the 2023 Sequoia touts enough passenger space for up to eight passengers with its available second-row bench and third-row bench seats.

While it may feel like the 2022 models just came out, the 2023 Toyota Sequoia shows that car manufacturers are always looking toward the future. The new Sequoia’s updated look and features are a testament to the fact that upgrades are coming to keep old models new and competitive. If you’ll be car shopping in the next year or two, the 2023 Toyota Sequoia just might make it on to your shortlist of vehicles to consider.
