The Kia Telluride changed the game in many ways for non-luxury midsize SUVs by setting the standards so high that other automakers are struggling to keep up. Thanks to many of Kia’s incorporated changes, the Telluride is racking up awards and selling so fast that it was once dubbed the “Sell-U-Ride.” So, how much can car shoppers expect to pay for a Telluride at its base level and top trim with all the bells and whistles? Here’s how much a fully loaded 2024 Kia Telluride costs.

The LX has a crazy number of options for a base trim

The 2024 Kia Telluride LX has some features that aren’t available on some luxury vehicles unless you buy one of the numerous packages, which just shows why it’s such a popular vehicle. It is equipped with a 3.8L V6 engine that generates 291 hp. It has the ability to tow up to 5,000 lb, so you can take campers or smaller boats along on your adventures. It can seat up to eight passengers comfortably, and the Telluride already has a lot going for it. 

Kia doesn’t stop there, of course.  It offers one-touch sliding and folding second-row seating, making getting in and out easier for passengers, and there’s a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with navigation to help you reach your destination safely. This is paired with Kia Connect and SiriusXM Satellite Radio.

There is also a rearview monitor with dynamic parking guidance, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and smart cruise control with stop-and-go. These are just a few of the features offered on the LX trim, and it’s all included for the price of $35,990. 

The SX Prestige X-Pro is a powerhouse with the highest 2024 Kia Telluride price

The 2024 Kia Telluride SX Prestige X-Pro may have the same engine option as the LX, but it increases the towing capacity to 5,500 lbs. Kia also adds in AWD to sweeten the deal, along with dual sunroofs, high-utility roof rails, increased ground clearance, and enhanced approach and departure angles. 

Nappa leather seat trim with X-Pro embossed front seats and interior mood lights with 64 color options are also standard. There are also more features such as a blind-spot view monitor, surround view monitor, heated and ventilated first and second-row seats, and a 110V power inverter on the second row and cargo area. 

Kia also includes a wide range of safety tech, such as blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist, and lane keeping and following assist. There is even a safe exit assist that prevents passengers from opening the door if another car or even a bicycle is approaching.

The 2024 Kia Telluride SX Prestige X-Pro is priced at $53,185. So how much will you pay once you add in all the available packages?

You can purchase several options designed to protect your Kia Telluride from the elements. These include a carpeted cargo mat with seat protection and mudguards. These cost less than $300 and are a good investment to keep your Telluride-looking prestige.

There are also options such as the crossbars, front alloy skid plate, and rear bumper applique that further help protect your vehicle. The side step bars make getting in and out easier since the Kia Telluride SX Prestige X-Pro has great ground clearance, and this costs an extra $690.

The most expensive option, and the one that most families will be interested in, is the rear seat entertainment system. It adds an extra $1,500 to the total.

Finally, you can choose four exterior colors that will increase the price by $495. These are Ebony Black, Midnight Lake Blue, Glacial White Pearl, and Wolf Gray.

Once you add all the extras in, you’re looking at a price of $59,565. So is it worth the extra cost? 

Not really. The LX trim offers a ton of features for a much lower price and will be more than suitable for most families. Still, there’s no denying that the Telluride is an incredible vehicle, no matter which trims or options you choose to buy.
