The Honda Accord is one of the best-selling midsize sedans in the U.S. For 2021, the Accord receives a slight price bump and improved features. While navigating the prices and trim levels for such a popular model can be daunting, we’re going to break them all down. According to Honda, the 2021 Accord has a starting price of $24,770, going all the way to $36,700 for the Touring trim level without options.

The cheapest Honda Accord is the LX trim level with its $24,770 starting price. For this and all other trim levels, you’ll have to factor in a mandatory $955 destination price. The addition of the charge brings the total base price to $25,275. Powering the Accord LX is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 192 hp mated to a CVT transmission.

Despite it being at the affordable end of the spectrum, the Accord LX still offers plenty of standard options. In the center of the dashboard, you’ll find a standard eight-inch touchscreen display, which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Instead of a conventional rearview camera, the Accord offers multiple vie angles in its rearview camera system.

The most crucial standard feature on the Accord, however, is Honda Sensing, which includes security systems such as a Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation System, and Adaptive Cruise Control to name a few. These standard features mean that you won’t have to spend extra to get a safe Accord.

The Accord Touring is the most expensive at $36,700

Moving up the Honda Accord trim levels leads us on to the Sport trim. The Sport has a starting price of $27,230 with the 1.5-liter engine and $31,910 with a 252-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. Notable upgrades over the LX include 19-inch wheels, a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and an eight-speaker sound system.

Sitting above the Sport is the Sport Special Edition for $28,720. The Sport SE takes the 1.5-liter engine-powered Sport and adds a leather interior, heated front seats, and keyless entry with remote engine start. It is worth pointing out that the Sport SE is not available with the 2.0-liter engine.

The Accord EX-L sits above the Sport SE at $28,720 and gets a significant bump in tech features. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come as standard as well as a wireless phone charger. In terms of safety, the EX-L benefits from a blind spot and cross-traffic monitoring system on top of Honda Sensing. Parking sensors also come as standard.

The Accord Touring is the range-topping option at $36,700 and is only offered with the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. Being the best the Accord can offer, the Touring offers low-speed braking control, ventilated front seats, a heads-up display, and an adaptive damper system. When combined with all of the other standard features from the lower trim levels, the Touring is the most luxurious, powerful, and expensive Accord available.

The Accord Hybrid starts at $26,370

For eco-conscious consumers, the Honda Accord Hybrid starts at $26,370. All of the hybrid models utilize a 2.0-liter engine and an electric motor for a combined output of 212 hp. The electrified powertrain allows the Accord Hybrid to consume an average of 48 mpg.

In terms of equipment, the Hybrid trim levels are almost identical to those of the standard Accord mentioned earlier, offering similar options except with a Hybrid powertrain. The Hybrid EX starts at $30,320, the EX-L at $32,690, and the Touring at $36,240.

It is important to reiterate that these are all base prices without the mandatory $995 destination or available options for the various trim levels. With a variety of available options, buyers can practically customize the 2021 Honda Accord to no end.
