How Much Is a Fully Loaded 2022 Subaru Impreza?
- A fully loaded 2022 Subaru Impreza is $27,355
- We reccomend the Sport wagon trim, at $25,055
- You don’t need Subaru’s navigation because Android Auto and Apple Carplay are standard
Time to have a debate about Subaru. Thankfully, mercifully, it won’t be about the plastic cladding on the Subaru WRX. Instead, we’re here to look at the merits and drawbacks of buying a fully loaded 2022 Subaru Impreza, the WRX’s more pedestrian sibling. However, unlike the ‘Rex, the Impreza is also offered with either a sedan or wagon body style.
$27,355 gets you a fully loaded 2022 Subaru Impreza wagon
In fact, because of that, there’s two fully loaded 2022 Subaru Impreza options. First, the sedan. For $24,555 you can tick every box on an Impreza sedan. Or, for $27,355 you can leave the dealer with a fully loaded Impreza wagon. We suspect that the price difference is purely down to extra material costs on the 5-door Subie wagon.
Regardless, loading up either of these models lands you with three options packs. First, a power sunroof (or moonroof), as well as blind-spot monitoring, push-button start, and a power driver’s seat. From there, options like a Harmon-Kardon sound system and navigation system are available, both of which you get with your fully loaded Subaru. Oh, and your choice of color, of course.
What’s the best Subaru Impreza trim?
If you ask us, a fully loaded 2022 Subaru Impreza isn’t worth the coin. That’s because the 2022 Subaru Impreza Sport exists. Now, it’s not fair to say this is some fast wagon worth its salt on a back road or race track. Instead, money saved is the real benefit to the Sport. It comes with practically everything you get in the top trims, plus your choice of transmission. There’s either the brand’s CVT or a 5-speed manual transmission.
From there, you can save a little coin by opting for the moonroof, blind-spot, and Harmon-Kardon sound system. You’re still getting 99% of the top trim’s features, just sans navigation. Frankly, given the standard Apple Carplay and Android Auto, we’re willing to bet you don’t need the top trim’s navigation anyway. Mobile integration software is the best thing to happen to infotainment in the last ten years, so best take advantage of it. In sedan layout, the 2022 Impreza Sport starts at $24,555 and the wagon at $25,055.
Should you buy a wagon or a sedan?
Finally, the last choice is the body style. As we said above, it’s either sedan or wagon here. Obviously, the wagon is more practical. It always will be. If your budget allows for the 5-door, then do it. If not, don’t expect to go hauling any furniture with the sedan. No matter which, it’s best to stick with the Sport Impreza.
