You might have missed seeing a Jeep SUV on display if you haven’t streamed the newest Goosebumps reboot on Hulu or Disney+ yet. Based on the series from R. L. Stine, the newest Goosebumps adaptation uses names from the original books as titles, like “Say Cheese and Die.” In episode one, we see the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon for the first time with Goosebumps cast members James and Zack Morris. Just in time for Halloween!

Hulu’s Goosebumps show features a Jeep Wrangler for some spine-chilling fun

You can find almost anything on streaming services, and Goosebumps is a recent release on both Hulu and Disney+. The Goosebumps series has been done before, with a movie back in 1997, but like everything good from the ’90s, it was time for another stab at it (get it? stab?). Anyway, Goosebumps is back! Miles McKenna plays James in the series, while Isaiah Howard plays Zack Morris.

James and his friends are all in high school and thus need vehicles to ride around in, which is where the Jeep Wrangler comes into play. It’s hard to tell because some of the show is so dark, but it looks like the 2023 Wrangler Rubicon. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is a four-door SUV with a hard-top roof. It comes with factory-installed tow hooks on the front end, painted red like the Rubicon lettering on the hood.

There is a slight possibility it is the 2024 Wrangler, but the version on the screen appears to have a slightly longer and more rectangular front grille. The 2024 models have more of an oval-shaped grille that only extends to just past the headlights.

The Jeep Wrangler in Goosebumps isn’t cheap

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon costs $50,885 for the four-door three-piece hard top. If you want the two-door version, that is only around $46,685. But the one in Goosebumps definitely has four doors. One of the best parts of the Wrangler is probably that it can be totally customized from the factory, so we may never know all of the specs of the Goosebumps Jeep Wrangler.

We can surmise it has the Black Clear-Coat Exterior Paint, though it looks purple in some lighting. It also has the classic 17-inch by 7.5-inch machined black wheels. There is also the Wrangler Rubicon 392, which starts at $82,990. It might be slightly less logical that a 16-year-old is driving the $82,990 Wrangler Rubicon, but anything is possible in the land of modern television.

At one point, James mentions the scratch on his “brand-new fully loaded Rubicon.” He also says that the Jeep Wrangler was on backorder “for like a year, dude.” Jeep, like every other automaker, was having some trouble keeping up with production over the last few years. I’d be sad if my brand-new Wrangler got scratched immediately, too.

If you watch Goosebumps for the Jeep Wrangler, you get glimpses of it in most of the first six episodes. At one point in the “Reader Beware” episode, the whole cast piles into the backseat to help Margot Stokes, played by Isa Briones.

While there are other cars featured in the show, like a random Subaru and someone’s Kia sedan, the Jeep Wrangler sees most of the action. If you are diving into the Goosebumps reboot this weekend, keep an eye out for the Jeep SUV! You might even see a Jeep wave or two if the Goosebumps cast gets really serious.
