Is Hyundai discontinuing the Accent?
Yes, Hyundai is discontinuing the Accent, reports Kelley Blue Book. There is no definite date when it’s being discontinued, but this car will not be in Hyundai’s 2023 lineup.
According to Kelley Blue Book, “In a statement, the company says the Accent has been “discontinued due to an expanded SUV lineup that includes Venue. The Venue now serves as the entry-level model for the Hyundai brand. Sedans remain an important part of the lineup, and Hyundai continues to offer Elantra and Sonata.”
As of right now, the Accent is still available for sale and has a starting MSRP of $16,645. Its “replacement” is a compact SUV. The Hyundai Venue has a higher starting price and is priced at $19,000.
