It’s time to accept that Hyundai has changed. Sure, it has a seedy past with Kia, but it has turned things around. Hyundai models have transformed from cheap starter cars to luxurious bargains and most states are taking notice.

Hyundai models dominate in most states as the fast-selling vehicles

Are you surprised by the Hyundai models that are killing it? Hyundai trucks, SUVs, and cars are dominating multiple states as the fastest-selling new vehicles.

Meanwhile, only two brand-new Ford models made the list—the Ford Maverick rules in Kansas and the Ford Expedition rules in New Jersey.

For a country that’s obsessed with trucks, we need to represent more. SUVs are the fastest-selling vehicles in 31 states. Trucks are the fastest in nine states.

Prices for new cars were up by 7.4% compared to 2023. New cars are also taking 25.7% longer to sell. The average new car sits on the dealership lot for about 48.2 days. New Hyundai models are only taking between eight and 21 days to sell.

However, there’s a different story with the fastest-selling used vehicles. The Hyundai Venue is the only model on that list, and it dominates Texas.
