What’s All Included in the New 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD AT4X Trim Level?
For the 2024 model year, GMC added two new trim levels to the Sierra 2500 HD lineup above the former range-topping Denali trim. While one is the new Denali Ultimate trim, we’ll look at the new standard for a luxury heavy-duty, off-road truck, the 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD AT4X.
2024 GMC Sierra 2500 HD trim level pricing, specs, and feature highlights
In addition to the new AT4X trim, GMC offers six trim levels for its 2024 Sierra 2500 HD lineup.
PRO and SLE trim highlights
The entry-level PRO trim starts at $44,400, and the $48,200 SLE trims feature the most cab/truck bed configuration and powertrain options.
Configuration options include combinations of regular, double, and crew cabs with standard and long truck bed lengths. Although the regular cab only comes with a long bed.
Powertrain options include the standard 6.6-liter gas V8 engine or an optional 6.6-liter turbo-diesel V8. Both are backed by an Allison 10-speed automatic transmission. An optional integrated power take-off (PTO) is available for the diesel engine-equipped PRO and SLE trimmed Sierra 2500 HD models. Each trim also offers optional four-wheel drive (4WD).
The PRO trim comes with LED headlamps, a trailering package with trailering mirrors, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, the SLE trim has a 13.4-inch infotainment touchscreen and the MultiPro tailgate.
SLT and AT4 trim highlights
The other GMC Sierra 2500 HD trims only come as crew cab models, with all except the new AT4X featuring a choice in bed lengths. The SLT is the uppermost trim with standard two-wheel drive or optional 4WD, while the rest feature standard 4WD. The SLT and AT4 feature a choice between gas or diesel engines.
The $60,500 SLT trim adds dual-zone automatic climate control. Upgrading to the $69,100 AT4 trim gets you heated and ventilated leather-upholstered front seats, a jet-black interior with Kalahari accents, an off-road suspension package featuring twin-tube shocks, skid plates, and 20-inch gloss-black aluminum wheels.
Denali and Denali Ultimate trim highlights
The Denali features your choice of gas or diesel power, but the Denali Ultimate only comes with the 6.6-liter Duramax turbo-diesel. Both trims come as crew cab models with an option for standard or long bed lengths.
The $73,200 Denali trim rides on 20-inch ultra-bright machined wheels with bright chrome inserts and features an interior trimmed with authentic open-pore wood, patterned aluminum, and perforated leather seating surfaces. The $91,900 Denali Ultimate features gloss black wheel inserts, a Vader chrome grille, illuminated power assist side steps, an Alpine Umber interior featuring open-pore Paldao wood, 16-way power-adjustable massaging front seats with full-grain leather seating surfaces, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system with Centerpoint surround sound.
